We’re very excited about our March adoption special. For the entire month, we’re waiving the adoption fee on all animals that are adoption returns, because these animals most certainly deserve a break – A SPRING BREAK! All we’ll ask for is a donation in their honor.
There are many reasons an animal might be adopted and returned, and it’s rarely at the fault of the animal. We very clearly state in our adoption agreement that if for any reason throughout the animal’s life the adopter is unable to continue care of the animal, Lucy Mackenzie will take the animal back. We are committed to supporting the animal for their entire lifetime and will always provide them with a home and the care they need.
There’s no denying it’s a sad day for all when the animal returns, but the silver lining has always been that we learn important information about how the animal reacts in a home environment, which ultimately leads us to successfully placing them again.
Here are our current animals that qualify for this special (and why they were returned). Please contact us at 802-484-5829 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions, and we encourage you stop in and meet these lovely and deserving adoptables!
