Hi! My name’s Zeke and I’m a 4-year-old neutered male. I probably look familiar as I was recently adopted, but returned do to no fault of my own. Originally, a sweet soul found me outside and brought me to Lucy Mackenzie. I am thankful they did for I have been able to receive the medical care I needed. You see, I have a disease the humans call Progressive Retinal Atrophy. I’ve probably had it since birth, but the hard part about this disease is it gets worse with time, so while I am not fully blind right now, I will be blind in the future. However, this disease is not painful (I’m super lucky there!) and now I have the chance to find a wonderful forever home! I am an affectionate, friendly guy – I just soak up the attention! Though, I must admit, I do have moments of frustration. It is difficult being partially blind and not having good awareness of the environment around me – it can be a bit tricky and even scary at times. Patience is key, well and perhaps keeping the furniture arranged the same way! Don’t want any stray chairs spooking me, haha! So, if you have room in your heart and home to care for a loving, special needs kitty like me, please call today to learn more!
