Hi! My name’s Sophia and I’m a 2-year-old spayed female. A nice lady found me outdoors all on my own. She took really good care of me and even brought me to the vet to be spayed, and checked out. It was a good thing, too, because I tested positive for FIV. That stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and as an FIV positive cat, there are a few requirements that will be needed in my new home. I will always have to be an indoor-only cat and should be an only cat, too. The exception is that I could live with another FIV-positive cat. Other than that, I’m a healthy gal! I’m rather independent, but very curious. I’ve made many good people-friends here at Lucy Mackenzie, but it takes time for me to let my guard down around strangers. I’ll give you a hint, though – I really fancy my treats and that’s definitely the way to my heart! Treats and taking your time with me go a very long way. If you’d like to either meet me or learn more about my needs, please give the shelter a call or stop in today!
