In accordance with the most recent Vermont guidelines regarding interstate travel, Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society’s services will be available to Vermont residents only, effective immediately. We will be remaining open by-appointment only, as well.

Please call to make an appointment to:

  • Meet an adoptable animal – we will do all we can to facilitate the adoption process over the phone prior to your visit. You can view all of our adoptables on our website (www.lucymac.org/pets/).
  • Surrender an animal
  • Bring in a stray
  • Access the Pet Pantry
  • Make a purchase from our shop or purchase Purina Food (Did you know that we sell a variety of Purina cat and dog food right here in West Windsor? Call to learn more.)

Additionally, we are ceasing all dog training classes for the remainder of the year. If you are in the current session, you will have the option of attending a future class at a reduced fee once dog training resumes in 2021.

As of today, we are planning on moving forward with our December 7 spay and neuter clinic, but only for Vermont residents. If restrictions should increase, and we need to cancel, we will be in touch with those registered as soon as possible.

The health and safety of our staff, community and residents remains our number one priority. From all of us at Lucy Mackenzie, we thank you for your understanding, cooperation and support.
